Rissy Fiora

Textile Design + Product Development

Rissy is a textile designer based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She currently works in product development for Kohl's department store designing home products for bedding and bath.

Rissy has always had a passion for product development and has worked on a variety of product categories for national brands and retailers. After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design, she focused on textile development by creating original artwork for printed textiles as well as partnering with mills to develop unique fabrics.

During her time in Milwaukee, she has become an active member of the arts community. Currently she is co-chair of the Promotions Committee for Lakefront Festival of Art. She has also taught several textile design classes at Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design.

Her areas of expertise include establishing brand concepts through color, art, & fabrication direction, competitive & aspirational market analysis, and original repeat pattern/graphic development. Rissy is also passionate about collaborating with vendors during all parts of the product development lifecycle, including working on new development as well as trouble shooting print, weave, and embellishment execution.
